EAP (Employee Assistance Program)

PACE Southeast Michigan’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offered through Henry Ford Health System and has a comprehensive and extensive work-life resource available to employees and their family members to assist and support them with this all too common challenge. WorkLife Care Consultants provide professional consultation and referral to assist with a wide spectrum of work, family, and personal issues.
Services are available 24/7 via a toll-free number, website, and live chat.
The members-only website features a comprehensive level of resource articles, audio and video files covering emotional well-being, health and wellness, and workplace issues, as well as child care, elder care, adoption, legal, financial, and education.
PACE offers a valuable medical benefit plan for you, your family, and your partner, which starts on the first of the month for new employees.
Medical Coverage is provided through Health Alliance Plan of Michigan (HAP). Medical insurance includes 100% preventive coverage, as well as competitive office visit and prescription drug co-pays.

Dental insurance is provided through Mutual of Omaha. Mutual of Omaha provides both in-network and out-of-network benefits. Because PACE believes that smiling is SO important, we’ve decided to cover 100% preventive services for you and your family!

All full-time employees of PACE Southeast Michigan will be covered under a company-paid basic life policy, along with a matching accidental death or dismemberment benefit. Employees will also have the option to purchase additional coverage; coverage for dependent children is available.
Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance
Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance is provided at no cost to you. Short-Term Disability covers 60% of your salary after 14 days of disability, and Long-Term Disability covers 60% of your salary after 90 days of disability.

PACE will match $1 for $1 on the first 3% of your pay and $.50 for each $1.00 of your contribution for the next 2% of your pay.
